He brings together the Mass and Divine Office, Scripture and the Fathers, hymns and antiphons, with his richly informative historical, doctrinal and spiritual commentary.

This Saint Austin Press edition is the first newly typeset English edition in more than 150 years, and the first printed throughout in red and black. Its generous 220 x 160 mm page is significantly larger in area than competing smaller-format editions, allowing larger type and a more spacious setting.

Each volume is sewn in small signatures to lie flat at virtually any point, making the work particularly convenient for devotional reading, study and prayer. The books are bound in mountain green cotton cloth with gold-blocked spines, classic cream dust-jackets, coloured patterned endpapers and Scottish-made art-silk headbands.

The much-loved Shepherd and Stanbrook translation is newly typeset whilst preserving the pagination of the classic edition. A foreword by Peter A. Kwasniewski introduces the set.
